We've more than likely met many times, as I managed and tended bar at the Infinity many years back. Just started playing again with T Ward and Po' Boy, and besides being a mediocre bass player, I'd be interested as well. In Sturbridge now, so I'm pretty close.

1) GK MB200 - wow. just wow. 2) Sansamp bass driver DI - Staple for over 12 years. Never thought another piece of gear could ever top it, but the MB200 wins by a nose. 3) Vox Amplug for bass. Besides the fact that I'm having some fun with an Eden World Tour pre-amp DI box that I picked up...

I'd vote for the Jazz bass as well for it's flexibility. I would also take a look at the G&L Tribute line of basses. For the price they are amazing as they carry the same electronics as the american G&L's. I have no experience with Vox amps, however, the Vox Amplug is one of the best $40 I ever...
