Im still using the stock strings (130 on low B). I adjusted the double truss rod and string height last week and intonation yesterday. Neck was adjusted to minimal relief, string height to 2mm and pick up height to 3mm (with string pressed on the 24th fret).

-on the head stock...remove the 3 small screws on the truss rod cover(black plastic with A4 on it). -If its concave... do a quarter turn clockwise (going to your E string) ... if its convex... do a quarter turn counter clockwise (going to your G string) -then tune your bass and let it sit...

Bought a new Artisan A6. Looks and sounds great! :) Just finished adjusting the dual truss rod the other night and bridge for the string height yesterday, got the low action now :)

Try to have some time to play with the EQ. Settings depends on the amp
