I have never found a boost useful, BUT I have only ever liked solid-state amps, and really only record (rarely play live), so I can just boost volume by hand as needed. (So I am super biased) However if you do have a tube amp I could really see wanting a boost.

The Warped Vinyl is great, if you like chorus pedals, you can get alot of different tones and sounds from it, and I rarely mess with all the dip switches on the back, so I have barely scratched the surface of what his pedals can do!

I really like the Flex, really fun noise pedal, goes crazy with the tap of a fret, I've only had the Flex Pro for a couple weeks, and overall I think I like the Flex (regular) better, I rarely use the LFO on the Pro, it is really crazy and almost too noisy, makes a nice pulse sound though.

Sounds like velcro, I love it, I like it even better through the BigBottom crossover/blend, really helps put alot of bass back in!

I think that is just where I turned the gate knob completely off. I don't think I messed with the mix knob at all, I kept it about noon, which is 50/50.

Well I just did a quick mess around with it! I move the gate, tone and fuzz knobs around a few times. Just bass and pedal plugged straight into my computer, no compressor or eq or anything like that. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I got it to be a tight gated fuzz to counter my muff. It can get super tight, almost too much, if the gate knob is pushed too high you get a lot of splattering buzz. The sound can go from a sputtering super atonal splat to a "normal" open and heavy fuzz. I replaced my Earthquaker Terminal with...
