    Medium scale Nexus

Does anyone know if Rotosound makes Nexus in medium scale and if they do, where I can buy them?

Rotosound SM77 as TI Flats alternative

I can't really add to GIBrat51's response. Well said!

Rotosound SM77 as TI Flats alternative

I too have made the switch from TI flats to rotosound flats because I wanted more tension. They had a lot more pull on my neck and required me to keep a close eye on the relief for a couple days. It took more than one tweak of the truss rod to return the action to where it was with the TIs.

    Music Man Bongo Signal Problems

I would suspect the output jack. Rub a q tip soaked in tv tuner cleaner or denatured alcohol in there. It will come out dirty. Try not to Snag any cotton in there.

    SOLD EBMM Bongo 5HH 2012

This is a 2012 Bongo 5HH. I am the second owner. I bought it from a TB'er in 2013. It was very well maintained. I used it a lot for praise and worship from 2013-19. But I am meticulous with my stuff. (I turn the pegs with a towel so they don't get smudged. Pictures will show a paint chip...

    For Sale EBMM Bongo 5HH

This is my 2012 Ernie Ball Music Man Bongo 5HH electric bass guitar in original condition. It includes the OHSC that was never used. The pictures will show there is a scratch at the tip of the headstock. Other than that it is cosmetically mint. The outer edge of the nut at the B string is broken...

THE BONGO CLUB (Part 2, 3 and infinity)

Is the green one really old? I don't recognize the inlays. Are they cocktail glasses? Plus the saddles look square, not like barrels. How does the sound compare with your red HH? Sorry for all the questions. Intriguing!

THE BONGO CLUB (Part 2, 3 and infinity)

After nearly 2 years of playing my 5HH with TI flats, I was ready for a change and went back to rounds. Last night I put on regular slinkys. I kept the TI's for if I ever decide to go back. I played my Geddy Lee for worship services last weekend and loved the growl SO much. I have been...

THE BONGO CLUB (Part 2, 3 and infinity)

There is no buzz on the B string. Plus the B is so thick that it doesn't feel mushy.

Congrats! You will love the tone flexibility. Did you request dot inlays versus half moons?

THE BONGO CLUB (Part 2, 3 and infinity)

I ADORE TI Jazz Flats on my Bongo 5HH. If you ever go this route, file your B slot in the nut or the super thick B string will break the edge off the nut. My TI's have been on there 20 months and just keep sounding better.

E string touching edge of FB....

I am not overly crazy about the tapered string posts on the Bongo. I can see why they do it, to pull the strings down to the headstock, but with my .136 TI Flat B it is tough to keep the string against the post and not riding over itself. Good thing it only needs to be changed every few years...
