These strings are really great sounding on this instrument. It's been defretted and with a crappy fill job, but this thing has it all.

I was referring to the Labella Deep Talking strings. The GHS seems closer.

I'm not inclined toward tape wounds, as I have those on another fretless and the tape windings are visible. This is more like someone put thin heatshrink on it -- continuous.

Identify strings always seemed like a silly thing, yet here I am. I've got a '75 Precision where I'd like to know what strings are on it. pics, of course ... The cigarette burn on the headstock is classic :)

one point related to wired vs. wireless -- since running to me was two cables and not very much fun I created a cable carrying both the bass signal and the return to the IEMs to make things easier. Just to be nice the return was stereo, too, even though it wasn't really needed or very helpful.

Any of them. The only difference in passive A/B boxes is the size of the box, the graphics, and how you like the switch.

I reworked a couple of cabinets to use 102's and am very happy with them. They've received several very favorable comments. A lot of people will have observations about them -- lacking this or that -- but the results speak for themselves.
