me too ...i had that same issue, my fretless mb2 was that good that i fought the gas to buy a fretted ...couldn't find any youtube's on this config at all and kind of came to the conclusion that maybe they weren't all that, ..for the most part i can play my mb2 as a fretted. In a way i'm glad...

yes ..i have played many including wal and i have to say the rob allen mb2 is one of the best ...it has so much self sustain like all the wood is working in harmony.

i took it all down a couple of stops to that tuning and it handles it fine, which i thought would be the case as thats pretty much the same tension as the mouse ..it now sounds real deep just the way i like it.
