    So I lift the action a little bit on the E and A strings, went for Lo-Riders Nickel 45-100 but pay really attention to control my dynamic and had pretty good results. Thanks for the advices. :bassist:

    I remember before everyone had a camera on their phone that I was drawing my settings in my note books and giving them silly names. When I find them back later, I sometime try em back and think to myself "WHAT WAS I DOING?!?!" Experiments I guess... =P

    Yeah, I know, that's just me... :rollno: I don't like scratches, no in the front, no in the back, its just a thing in my head. The only yeah I could avoid it would be with a "road worn" kind of bass, this way I won't feel guilty... maybe a "hardcore aged" sandberg... oh oh.... GAS is coming...

    or jeans buttons/zipper or anything scratches... I got a nice green burst ebmm BFR sterling and the back is black so it shows the scratches easily. Is there some kind of trick to protect it without damaging the finish? ... beside playing in PJs or pant less! :p
