    Need Help - P-JBass Pickup Issues

    I had the very same issue with my P/J bass using seymour duncans. All I did was switch the hot and ground wires on the seymours. So if the black was soldered to the back of the pot and the white went to the prong. I just switched them and it worked like a charm.

    Couple questions. The tone pot on my squier sounds really tinny when turned all the way up. the pots that are installed on the squier are smaller than the usual P and J basses. I guess because the cavity in the bass is smaller. Is there a better tone pot I could buy? Also, the Jazz pickups...
