    Good Fuzz - Low Budget

I was considering looking around for a pre owned Soviet Big Muff, like the look of those, but dunno how easy they are to come by...

    Good Fuzz - Low Budget

Gojira distortion (clone of something, not sure), Boss ME-50B (with an alright fuzz but nothing special). Looking to spend £100 max really, and I play mostly alternative rock and some punk as well.

    Good Fuzz - Low Budget

I've been looking to build up my pedal rig a little bit more than the boring one and multi fx i currently have. I've been looking around for a good fuzz on a fairly low budget, any ideas? I've tried out a copy of the zVex Wooly Mammoth and it impressed me but i'm open to other pedals and...

Geddy Lee: Isolated bass track to "YYZ" (1981)

I recently sat a graded bass exam in order to meet university application requirements, and one of the pieces was YYZ which had been slightly simplified and slowed, and had no synth section. However, I had learned the original version, so what I was playing was more than I actually needed to and...

Your Evolution as a Bass Player?

Although I've only played bass around 4 years, I've changed quite a lot as a bassist... Started as a sax player aged 12, picked up my first bass at 14, only playing root notes with a pick. As time passed, I received infrequent lessons from my school's guitar and bass teacher, who introduced me...

    Unrealistic Plans

Sorry if I've caused any offence, I certainly haven't taken any, feedback whether positive or negative is good in my eyes. I do indeed sing backing on our songs, and personally I don't like my voice, but I am the only other member willing to do it. We had to change the link, here is the updated...

    Unrealistic Plans

Fair enough to your opinion, each to their own I say, some people like the vocals the way they are. I'm not that fussed as long we enjoy playing, which we are

    Unrealistic Plans

I see that people are still giving advice and their opinions, although I have posted an update to say that the problem has been resolved. Thanks again for all the input, all of it is valid :)

    Unrealistic Plans

Sorry if I seem to be dragging this back from the dead, thought i'd give an update after a few months :) I spoke to the guys and managed to show them that we weren't ready to go straight into recording an album, and that gigs should be the priority. We've now played over 10 gigs since, and...

    NBD - VM Precision

Added a fifth bass to my collection recently, in this case a Squire Vintage Modified Precision Bass, with a natural finish and maple neck. Seem to be slowly attaching myself to natural basses... Took it out on Friday as a spare to my VM jazz, but it wasn't used. What do you guys think? :)
