GB shuttle head with fEARful 12/6 is amazing. Acoustic Image also makes a great amp for acoustic bass, but their cabs are weak. It would also be great with a fEARful. Fishman Platinum preamp is a must-have.

No breakup at all! They are very flat across the entire frequency spectrum. I actually really like the DI sound for bass and that's probably why I like the fEARful. The DIY adventure is fun too.

I like the MXR M80+

The 1212/6 is a phenomenal cab. I doubt you will find anyone who has actually played through one who hasn't absolutely fallen in love with it.
