    Coconut Oil?

    I've been using Butcher Block Oil. Food grade. Humidity, or lack thereof is a problem, in Wyoming. I usually use a drop and some 0000 steel wool to clean the finger gunk, when I change my springs. Keeps everything sounding nice and warm.

    Looks like it was a blast! I'll get my chance on July 4th. Our band is opening for Neal McCoy. It's Wyoming, so country is king.

    Bassman/Rumble combinations

    I'm rolling a Bassman 800 on top of a pair of Rumble 410s. Honestly, the stack looks and sounds amazing! Usually for shows though, I only run a single 410 through that Bassman. If I need that 810 configuration for a show, I have it.

    Is it sacrilege to sand your gloss neck?

    I've had great luck with 000 or 0000 steel wool. It knocks down the gloss, but only just enough. Turned my gloss neck T-Bird into a real hot rod.

    Expensive vs inexpensive basses

    Hell, I've had numerous brands and cost points. The bass in my pic is an Ibanez GSR205. I love it. I have a cheap ass Silvertone P Bass. I love it. My only expensive bass is my EBMM SR 4HH. I love it a lil bit more ;)
