Best Lines you've heard onstage?

In 1989 at a KISS concert. Someone threw a pair of jeans on stage. Paul Stanley picked them up, prentended (or possibly actually did) smell them and said "Dear God! I can still smell whoever was in those jeans last! Whew"

And in the mid to late 80's at a Cinderella concert (or a band like it..) one of the guys, in the middle of the show, asked if anyone had a lighter. A barrage of about 400 cigarette lighters hit the stage. And pretty much the entire band ducked for cover. They honestly seemed surprised.

I still think it was planned and put it down to just good acting because, really, how could they not have expected that to happen..

Reactions: WI Short Scaler
Some young guy in their 20's in the audience came up and asked if we played any Pink Floyd once (which we didn't), so I introduced the next song by saying "Here's one that wasn't written by Pink Floyd"
We had a guy come up to us during a break in a gig in Auckland back in the late 70s and ask the same thing. We had one Floyd song in our set - Money - and had done it just two songs before the break. Our BL said "Did you just get here?"

I had a first at gig this weekend- a girl comes up and asks if she can put her chicken on stage with us, because her chicken's never been on a stage before..... she handed her chicken to the singer, and the keyboardist started playing the chicken dance. True story. and pics because of the "pics or it didn't happen " rule.

about 8 years ago someone came up to us at a break and asked if we could play 'YMCA' - our drummer replied "Do we look like the Village People to you"?
I was in an all male 4 piece covers band in the 1990's and a lady asked if we played any ABBA.... "er no sorry" was the reply from our singer
