Hello Yamaha fans, due to some issues I had to replace the pickups in my TRB 6P. It now has Bartolini pickups and a Glockenklang preamp. Has any of you managed to blend in the piezo pickup when you changed the original electronics?

Well, as much as I like the sound and playability of this bass, I don't feel comfortable with a 100% active preamp.

I stil use the same bag, 9 years later. Except a zipper that was replaced, everything is perfect.

I want to buy new cabinets for my LMK II. I hesitate between Markbass Traveler 102P +115P or one Schroeder 1212 or1210. What do you think ? Price is not an issue.

I play a Human Base Max5 and a Manne Moab arched top(custom) and they are really great basses.

I play a custom Manne MOAB arched top 6 string .I guess it's kind of a hybrid between Moab and Acoustibass. Awesome instrument.

Great review! All I want to add is that mine, bought in march 2009 has no side feet, but has two rubber feet on the bottom. And for those interested , it fits a Yamaha TRB6II perfectly.

I just got my Protec Contego 3 days ago, so I can't tell anything about reliability, all I can say is that I have to use both hands to open the velcro at the handle.So, it seems to have a better quality than others, including my Rockbag softcase.
