I have a Elwood L 5a I just picked up last week. It's currently with stock strings, and i'm thinking to swap it with vapor shield or nickel-plated strings.

I just find the stock strings' tension too low. I'll try on some La Bella strings and see what happens. However my Maruszczyk is a 35 inch and a fender-type head, so I need an extra long set.
