For some reason I struggle to remember them, mainly past 5th fret. It's quite annoying because well, I should just know it. Does anyone have a good method to remember them? Or any advice at all?

Is there something that motivates you about playing bass? I think you mentioned remembering how you were able to play stuff before. Just think about that, or whatever it is, every time you think negatively and just... persevere!

My first bass was a Japanese Squier Precision Bass and I'm glad to say I still own it! Although I do also have a decent American Jazz Bass now, I use the precision for drop C# tuning and it has lovely new pickups so does the job well! :) So I guess it's inspired me to keep it for about 10...

I only have one pedal anyways, my Boss tuner...
