Still waiting on this one, even though it seems dubious. There is a real gap in the market for a good bass synth it seems. The units ive tried just havent cut the mustard.

Does anyone know if Rondo has ever made a full size SX jazz fretless? Just curious why they only make them in JR size. Want to give fretless bass a try without breaking the bank, SX basses normally fit that bill perfectly

I use a Zoom Guitar multi effects pedal and it sounds good. Obviously there are multiple sounds/effects that aren't going to work, but there are alot of usable sounds. Atleast for playing around with. For $20 you can always flip it and break even if you dont care for it.

My bass only buzzes when im going active and through my preamp, but is silent when I hit the passive switch. Is this more likely a shielding issue or some sort of ground possibly soldered wrong on the preamp?

In my opinion, the thing of beauty about the SRs is the slick, small necks. They fit perfectly in my hand, and are easy to play. Its hard to even compare the two bases on the fact that the necks are different.

I work 16 hours a week as a security guard where I can pretty much read/study during my shift. Id like to utilize it to practice bass, but obviously can't have a bass in hand. What types of things should I memorize on paper such as the circle of fifths, etc.

Bought a webcam to take skype lessons, but the built in mic just doesn't do it. Whats the cheapest way I can directly get my instrument to my computer for a live video conference? I have a Xenyx 502 Mixer and a Zoom G1U but im not sure those will work for what I need.

Heres my SR500 with upgraded Bart MK4s and bart ntmb preamp.

Sometimes while trying out new instruments I feel like im not giving them a fair shake when trying them out at big box stores. Some instruments ill put down because they play terribly, but often I wonder if im not giving them a fair shake because of a terrible setup.

ive always kept my bass at the same height that is when im sitting. Im convinced its just the angle is different, I feel like the bass gets bent towards my body more while standing if that makes sense.

Does anyone else experience it impossible to play certain things in the upper frets unless you are sitting down? Chiefly using my pinky is impossible, I think its the angle at which the bass is.
