I have a Sansamp BDDI (the three switch programmable type) and was using it happily... then the VT came out with all the hoopla, so I got one as well... Never use it; I am back with the BDDI, which suits my ears much more so. That said, Tech21 make great products.

Hey man, I just off loaded my heavy rig (an Ampeg SVT and quad!) and recently got myself a Mark Bass combo (the 2 x 10" CMD210P)... and my back is loving me right now. I have just today paid for another quad (Mark Bass) but it is much lighter than my previous box. The technology has caught up...

Many moons ago I did a studio session on bass; I hadn't met any of the other musos beforehand and when I did, they were all like me i.e. nobodies... Then the drummer walked in... Virgil Donati, who has played drums for Steve Vai, Tony MacAlpine, etc, etc. Check him out playing with Billy...

I am posting this for no other reason than sheer relief; that after many many false starts, tweaking and re-tweaking, wondering whether I had bought the wrong amp/bass/pedals... dialling up sounds on knobs, only to find the sounds I created didn't cut it... questioning everything...
