This is all good stuff. I never got real deep into the study of music other than the basics of music from Jr high and High School band... I seem to end up playing one of four runs with just about everything on our set list (mostly country). What styles of music do these normally apply to?

I would go with a five......I bought a 4 string to start out (playing country) and now I'm finding I either need to detune a step or play the needed note an octave over....will be buying a 5-string soon....just need to play some paying gigs to raise some cash...

I'm coming over to the Bass after years as a guitar player.....to me it's cool to see and hear, but it's like the endless finger tap on pull offs hat VH made popular in the 80's.....it doesn't always fit....

Thanks.....I didn't know about the shelves....I may need to go that route. I can fab some tabs up...I was concerned with the small (4-40?) threads on the side of the amp...I was thinking they are normally 8-32 screws.

New member here.....I just bought a HA4000 amp and I would like to mount it in a small composite rack case. The problem is there are no ears (tabs) to bolt it up. Can someone point me in the right direction to buy the needed brackets or if it is even possible to do this... thanks..........Scooter

Would you want to use a shielded or unsheilded cable for the 1/4 connections?
