the newer mustangs that fender has out right now are really cool bass. they've put a standard sized PJ setup in them and unless something has come unsoldered are don't hum much at all.

the finish is tung oil, so a few new coats and some elbow grease and those wear spots above the pickups would be gone. i kinda like the "vintage/mojo" look myself.

34" scale. It does have a jazz bridge tone, but it has a cool "earth" tone a little like an upright.
