Tested the p resistors in circuit and they read ok.

PS I thought channel 2 sounded a little better than 1 (more natural) w music playing the B15; similar tone and volume setting. Best “music” tone interestingly was with both ultra low and high engaged in the normal channel on both 1 and 2.

There is a diode tester on the multimeter. Without power on the amp, the diode reads 0 or .5V depending on which direction I have the tester leads. The 0.513v read was with the black lead at the ->| end of the diode. I will likely replace it either way.

Thanks @sjrash The blues clip was my attempt to show the other end of warmth. SOS tone is a result of the combination of the P-Bass, the flats and the P-15 but agreed the P-15 can do a nice warm B-15 like tone.

I also got a chance to run the DI/Pre-Amp into a Crest power amp (an older and butt heavy FA-2401 that has tones of power) and it did a great job as a pre-amp. DI out of the P-15 into the DI input of the Crest.

Fully agree with @brianrost on the Hughes and Kettner or SWR ISO as a great option. I too use a H&K with a regular cab (8 ohm) for practice at home and surprised at how loud those few watts can be! Clean to OD is possible. I think mine is a blues master version. Personally I like the H&K better...
