Just the pickups, preamp is stock. There was a small difference in tone but not huge. A nice pre-amp would likely bring this bass to life. The neck angle was pretty good on time, but I'm using super thick strings with G# tuning.
I bought one back in June this year and put in some SD SSB-5 Phase IIs in there. The wiring to the blend was incorrect as previously mentioned. I'm going to sell it soon because the string spacing to too narrow for me.
Selling my Fender American Deluxe Dimension V bass. It's in near perfect condition and hasn't been played much. It includes Schaller strap locks and the fender ATS case with original case candy which is also in near perfect condition.
It sounds great, but I find myself playing 4s more often and...
We have a used tobacco sunburst fretless Sire bass at our shop and we have it priced at $399. It's in perfect condition. I wouldn't imagine charging more.

UPDATE: While demoing the cab locally I found one speaker which didn't sound right. I bought a new 8 ohm speaker directly from mesa...
Make sure to head over to the new GC in Woodland Hills and the Instrumental Music (the company I work for) Thousand Oaks location with photos and serial #s so they can look out. I know our Inst Music TO location will be more than willing to keep an eye out!
Guys I'm thinking of selling my 400 and getting a Subway D-800. I can buy stuff straight from Mesa so the D-800 would be less than market price and it's super tempting...buttttttt Im not sure I can get rid of the 400 with its massive sound and vibe
*The post says 45 but that was for the Tu3 that has since sold*

We used to be a large Monster cable dealer, but after A/Bing them against $10 cables and witnessing the sheer number of broken cables we stopped carrying ANYTHING Monster.
Oh god here it goes again. There are four main groups of people for this:
1) DIY people who solder/make their own cables
2) People who think cheap cables are just as good as expensive ones and think people are dumb for spending for than 15 on one
3) People who think expensive cables are way...
Selling a few basses that I don't use too much. I recently moved and don't have room for as large of a collection. Keeping my gigging basses only.
All basses available in Santa Barbara, CA for local pick up. All will ship in bass specific boxes and packaged professionally. No hard cases...
People usually sell AEBs on craigslist for relatively cheap since the market for them is much less. I'd be on the look out for something on there (or here!) and pair it with a Rumble 40. I have a Rumble 40 and routinely run my AEB into it when playing play with my guitarist who has a heavy right...
Our Fender rep told me about the feature awhile before it was released, but I was pretty underwhelmed by the customization options. Fender is still our favorite company to work with though.
I bought a Squier P/J for $60 with bum electronics, bought some Antiquity IIs straight from SD (with a niiiiice hook up) and now it's my main gigging bass for Drop C. Handles 55-135 strings well. Less than $200 total into it, sounds great, and weighs less than 9lbs.
Hey that thing looks familiar!!!!!
I'm the guy who helped you out if you bought that bad boy from Instrumental Music Santa Barbara. Glad to know there's a good ending to the story and I'm sure happy I gave you a good deal on it :D

Maple cap should only make the P bass sound brighter if anything and you could combat it by rolling off the tone knob a bit, but likely won't be able to tell a difference.
Awesome pedal, but I don't need it right now. Has male side Velcro on bottom and can be removed upon request. The construction is crazy good, I feel like I can throw it off a roof and it would break the ground instead (untested :D). Condition is 9.5/10. Save $100! Includes shipping, local pick...
ESP LTD Vintage 204 isn't bad and you can find them for ~250 or so. Need to replace the pick ups though. Squier VM are nice. Or Precision special with a P/J set up.
