I hear ya, I should've realized that the Hartke wouldn't be a smart fit considering I'm basically going to be just doing stuff in the home studio in my 2 bed room apt and 500 watts is WAY to much. Anything past 1 on the volume is LOUD lol. Plus honestly the X7 even in cleaner settings sounds...

Anyone using the X7 into a powered cab situation? Thinking about pairing it up with something like a Tech 21 Power Engine. I don't plan on playing out or jamming out so I won't be needing much volume to compete with a band for space.

Exactly!!! Especially if I need to run out from the home office. Much safer and no need to be around. And I also treat myself to a steak at lunch on pickup day lol.

Wow, X7 is pretty sweet. Granted I'm not into going deep distortion but it really gives that nice bit of fuzz on the lighter side. It sounds pretty awesome going straight into my interface and playing into my Sennheiser HD650s headphones. I used it for maybe 10 minutes into my Hartke. Can't wait...

Question.....Haven't even hooked it up yet. Should have all my stuff today. What's the best way to plug the X7 into my amp? It's a Hartke HD500 btw, should I go through the send/return or straight in? I'm guessing send/return ;)

Getting back into dat bass and have settled on the Ashdown OriginAL C112, my first was a Orange Crush 100 but sweetwater doesn't have any in stock. Unable to play it in person but liked what I heard via vids etc (yeah I know ymmv). Anyone using it with some added fuzz like a pedal or something...
