Happy Thanksgiving fellow TBers. I'm thinking about buying a new Seismic Audio SA210 cab for my bands practice space. It will be used with a Ampeg B1 head that I think puts out about 100 watts at 8 ohms. Like to hear from anybody that has used this cab.

I just bought a Mighty Mite MM2909 maple neck with maple fretboard. The specs say it has an oil based sealer applied (can't tell if it does or not). If it does (or doesn't) can I use a wipe on poly finish on the fretboard? Is it even necessary to add a finish if it's already sealed? Thanks, Jim

I'm used to older amps with only a volume and no gain control. I've used PA's with a gain and clip light, set gain until it clips and back it off. This sets the optimum preamp level. Then set volume for sound level. The MB210 does'nt have a clip light. I assume the controls are used the same...

I don't have the equipment to make a neck. Is it possible to remove wood from the sides of a neck with the frets installed? I'd like to get a P or Jazz bass type neck and get the dimensions close to those on my Steinberger XM2. I'm able to build a body without any problem.

I used WinIsd to get cabinet sizes for an old Carvin PS15 speaker. I used specs supplied by Carvin. For interior volume in a sealed box it calls for over 5 cu.ft. and over 11 cu.ft. for a vented box. I don't think Carvin used boxes this big for this speaker. Am I missing something? Thanks
