    Bass Banjo?

There is a hohner bass banjo at one of the local music stores. I've never heard of such a critter before. I can see why someone would make one for that banjo sound, just lower. However, I fail to see how practical that is. Does anyone have an example of a bass banjo being put to good use?

Funky noises from my Peavey T-40

I have a Peavey T-40 that I just put new set of medium Dean Markley sr 2000's on. The issue is that any fret above the 12th fret (or in that general range) has a funky "harmonic" undertone to it, sorta sounds like a chorus effect. My friend says it's picking up a vibration from the string below...

    Peavey Mark VI problem.

Hey! I have a Peavey Mark VI with a matching 1810 Cab. When I'm playing the sound seems kind of muffled and is accompanied by a bit of a buzz/distortion sound. I'm pretty sure it's not my bass or cable as I don't have the issue when running it through my churches sound system. I play plugged...

Help, I can't put my finger on what this buzz is!!!

I'm looking buying an, aprox, late nineties mim fender fretless p bass. it has, I'm pretty sure, Ernie Ball flats on it. the 'D' string is down to the fret board at the nut, which I don't believe is the issue, and it has an EXTREME buzz when an open 'A' is played. I can't figure out where it is...

First time changing strings, first time using flatwounds... I'm hooked.

So today I changed my strings for the first time today, thought I'd try flatwounds. I threw on some Ernie Ball group II flatwounds on my jazz bass, and I love them. Unfortunately, I thought I needed to shorten the 'G' string, turns out I didn't so now I need to get a new one :/ Anyway...
