Yesterday I bought an Ampeg RB-210. It is rated at 250 watts with the internal 8 ohm speakers. I want to add a 15” 8 ohm cab which will bring it up to 500 watts. Does the external cab need to be rated for 250 watts or 500 watts. I have a line on a used 350 watt cab but not sure if that will be safe.
