No foam but it's in the same shape as the day I brought it home last year. It's not been out of my studio since I took it out of the trunk of the car that first day and I've just been using it for recording so yeah, it's been babied.

It's an excellent amp. I play mine with the GB NEOX-212T cab. Plenty of tone flexibility with the tube and solid state preamps, plus all the EQ choices. This rig can really pump out some great tones. I think you'd be happy with the GBE750!

No, it's the standard covering. I photo-shopped the picture a little before posting because the room was dark and there wasn't much contrast. You couldn't see some of the detail on the cab before I increased the contrast.

It doesn't help with being able to try out gear, but I've met people in lobbys or parking lots of busy hotels. I try to pick a hotel located conveniently just off a major highway, about equidistant between me and the person I'm buying the gear from.

I've not had occasion to call GB or need their customer service but it is good to know it's so good.

Tube rectification can add to compression. A strong transient can cause the rectifier(s) tube to sag, limiting output; then as the input signal strength decreases from the fading note, the tube sag decreases and you get a swell from the rectifier tube returning to full power, which is...
