Melodic Death Metal With Prominent Bass?

I think the lyrics are pretty weak but dayyyuuumm, that IS a nice bass tone. Near perfect mix as far as metal goes I'd say.

Melodic Death Metal With Prominent Bass?

Those Dark Tranquility songs sound great! I'll have to add them to the list of bands to check out. As for the C.O.B. recommendation, I already have every single one of their albums :D Great band. As far as my "listening experience", it's quite extensive.. Some symphonic metal (Nightwish, Epica)...

The albums as a trio are phenomenal. They may become my favorite band. Audible bass can be achieved in metal!

Oh yes, Obscura definitely has some tasty bass. Not very melodic though :P And a lot of blast beats on the drums!

Melodic Death Metal With Prominent Bass?

Hey everyone! I've recently been getting seriously into melodic death metal. It seems like the bass is almost always completely buried though. Which being a bass player is a bit saddening. So, does anyone know of any melodic death metal or folk metal bands where the bass is audible/plays an...

    Synth Pedal with Expression Input

Hey everyone! I am on the hunt for a new pedal. I would like to try out a synth pedal of some kind but one with an expression input. I have a Hot Hand and would like to try out some wacky stuff with the two. I know of the Boss bass synth pedal but are there any other decent ones out there? Thanks!

Mid Scoop Frequency on a Jazz

Hey all! I bought a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz a few months and am absolutely it. As everyone knows, when you dime both pickup volumes on a Jazz you get the characteristic mid scoop. Does anyone know roundabout where this scoop resides, frequency wise? It's probably different for all the...

    Deepest sounding 410's?

Definately a Basson B410B. It goes down to about 28 Hz I do believe. I owned one for about a year but got rid of it as it had too much lows. It also weighs about 150 lbs.. Build them muscles!

    Basson 4x10: Worth a shot?

I own and play through one of theses cabs. Although they are very heavey and it is definately a two person job to load it into a car, I think it sounds great. The cab will pretty much put out as much low end as you want it to providing you have the power. I run mine with a Crown XLS 402 and it...

Hey guys. So a few days ago I build myself a rack case. Now all I have to is get some rack rails to put into it but finding some has been quite a challenge. I live in British Columbia so shipping from all the American music sites is gonna be about 30 bucks :hmm: Is there anything else I could...
