We used Jazz Humbuckers and lightest gauge steel strings available to record the bass and guitar parts... Fender Jazz was the instrument for all bass and guitar sounds.

Yes, I have done that. The pulse thing is weird when you're adrenalin gets spiked at a show lol Flashing light works with practice but generally speaking, the actual click in your ears is best when playing with tracks imo.

Okay, I see what you mean. We can do this with Ableton as well, which is fun but it means I will need to be on a click which is less fun lol I have used the click many times so the setup is familiar and we ultimately need to go that route for various reasons.
