I have one of these with a Hipshot and other One with a babicz bridge. Also Wilkinson black tuners are drop in. Cheap tunners and very nice ones. But not better than stock maybe only a little bit but nothing substancial!

Its a beautiful bass! If it feels good and sounds good thats a wonderful bass to start with! I've purchased the p bass standard special from 2000 and it's an wonderful bass, very light and the p pickup sounds amazing!!

I use one but I dial the bass in mic input and use an equaliser pedal, till now no problems with it. I play indoor not outdoor so don't know if it is a good ideia.

Use the mic input and a equaliser pedal that will give you fuller bass tone. Although I don't know if the speakers are powerful enough to crumble out the with time...i am using for it some months now and still ok (I don't use it in full volume).

Yes I was modding a jazz bass, changing the preamp, bridge, tuners and nut and decided to to the same to this one!! This has a gotoh bridge the neck and frets leveled and sanded and each pickup has an individual tone/volume!!
