I’m a Fender Jazz player in a Rush tribute band in Scotland, but I also play a 5-string Trace Elliot T-Bass in a rock covers band as well.

I currently play a Fender Jazz but wouldn’t knock a shot of a T-Bird.

I don’t own a Rickenbacker but I have played one a few times. This is me playing a 4001 (1975 model - same age as me) at Rush EuCon in 2015.

Love your profile pic man. I am a huge Rush and Geddy Lee fan. I even play bass in a Rush tribute band.

It wasn’t photoshopped. Geddy played two different Gibson Thunderbird basses on Rush’s R40 tour. He even mentions the basses in his new book called “Big Beautiful Book Of Bass”.

I got one a couple of years ago to use in a Rush tribute band in Scotland called Clockwork Angels. I love it!!
