The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

BWAAH, Haw, Haw! That was ment to be funny wasn't it? If not please accept my sincere apology.

The time machine bass is real if that’s what you meant. Funny posting here however.

There’s a build thread and an NBD thread out there.

Someone posted it on Facebook "Roast My Bass" a few weeks back and many of us really had fun with it. My initial thoughts were, "What a waste of some nice tuners, a great pickup and a 5 screw Babicz". Just goes to show, "one mans trash is another mans treasure", or vice versa I suppose. Please forgive me as I'm a hardcore realist.
Here's the latest from EdBo Designs. I call it my "Crooked Ass Bass". Ain't nothing straight on it.
Might be a waste of a good pickup and a 3 screw Babicz to another man but it's a fine player to me.

Hey Dude , what is the switch there with the lights on it ?

Yes sometimes ,IME sometimes saddles can move from side to side if they are on a different base plate then they were made for . Sometimes they can move anyway like on a Fender type so see how it all mates up could be perfectly fine .

Yeah, I'll give a whirl as I couldn't think of a negative, the current bridge actually has the saddles pushing against each other so much they appear to be spreading out, so that would be eliminated with narrower saddles...

Again this is some relatively cheap parts + a MM neck + 2 ATK PuPs and a handmade body... I'm not freaking out about quality... yet.

I will say this thing EASILY has more growl and anger issues than any of my other basses, lol. I have 3-way switches for each PuP that go Series/Outer/Parrallel and HOLY CRAP do the single and Series sound like they want to decapitate someone!

Here’s an interesting recent acquisition ... A Fender “Big Block” P bass body with a Warmoth roasted maple tele neck. Scored this for a very decent price.

The neck is ridiculously nice to play on... butter all day long. I happen to be a Warmoth neck fanboy. The stock pup is just “meh” and the bridge is kind of silly looking. I’m planning on swapping out both ... just not sure about what alternatives to use. I’d love to throw a Seymour Duncan 1/4 lb’er in her.

I dig her looks although YMMV :) I also like the tele control plate. There’s a lot of potential here

I can recommend a Nordy Big BladeMan... they can also size them to spec

Me too, I love everything about it except bridge and pickup. But those should be an easy fix.
