I've had these for a short time. Just getting around to putting them up.

Squier 51P with Fralin split 51P hum canceling pickup. It sounds awesome

Kala UBass. I replaced the icky white rubber strings with Kala steel wound nylon strings. Sounds like a regular bass.

Hadean UBass I like these rubber stings. Sounds kind of uprighty. I take one of the UBass on the road with me to fool around in the hotel. I was bringing my Mustang and a small amp. I like this better. Easier to carry and I don't bug anyone. I actually like the Hadean more.

TonyG19...do you like the Hadean because of the strings? I like the Road Toad Pahoehoes on a Ubass, but I just got a Kala solid body and ordered a set of the Kala round wound, is that what you put on your Kala?

exactly, a Tbird pup in one of those has to be amazing! what kind of TBird pup?

Look at my profile pic and go onto my postings, I put a whole “build” thread up a bit over a year ago. It’s the chinabucker a lot of folks use, it’s the same as the ones in the new embassys and tbirds

ummmmm asking for a friend (yeah I know this is off topic but I know you guys are watching this thread)...

So this... friend... might be assembly a bass tonight where he made the body himself and he wanted to know if the holes for the neck screws on the BODY should thread or should be large enough for the screws to just pass through and then thread in the neck itself...

Again... not for me... for a friend...

Yeah because my, uh, friend, his neck isn't really sitting right b/c the screws aren't moving freely, so they stop turning but there is a gap between body and neck... I'll have him open 'er up a little...

Aaaaaaand the Peacemaker (when I figure out what I botched on the electronics) makes 3!

I call it this because it uses 2 ATK pups and a MM neck, bringing two very opinionated sides together in unholy matrimony...

The body is my first attempt at making one from scratch using walnut and oak. If it is heavier than my ash headless, I can't tell...
