I was wondering if anyone here has done this already. I have a Dimension 5 and was wondering about possibly getting the Mike Inez pickup and putting it in the neck position. Could I keep the wiring as it is and just drop the pickup in?

I have a Spector Dimension 5 and wondered if I could just buy the neck pickup and switch out the one that's in the bass already without having to do anything with the wiring but idk if I could get the voice options that way?

I am no longer going to be using two cabs. Ive gone down to single cab setup. Heritage SVT CL with an Ampeg 410HLF. I will be spending some time with it tonight to get it hopefully dialed in and see if I can still hear any problems.

Ok its not a string issue. The problem didn't start after I changed strings on all my basses. Like I said, I played one day, sounded fine. Came in literally the next day, sounded different.

I've always played like that and I've been using the same picks for a couple years now.

All that is good. If you listen close you can hear an almost chorusy or flange or phase type sound

Right now the main issue is with my two combos at home. I played my SVT my two cabinets and it sounded great.

The EQ on the bass is flat and the treble on the amp is at about 1:00 and the high mid on the amp is at about 11:00. No effects, directly from bass to amp.

One from the bass to the first pedal in the chain and one from the output of the last pedal to the amp. The problem is still there even if the pedals aren't being used and these cables are instrument cables.
