If you primarily want amp modeling at this time I think I’d recommend the Tonex one bass for a few dollars more. The pod express is limited to the 7 models selected by line 6. Not that they’re bad but you get what you get. Also, I’d say 4 out of the 7 amp models are higher gain sounds.

Thanks, my model is thru body only. My issue is after my initial play through I’m not loving the tension on the low e. I’m hoping some medium/short strings will help with that. I’m also considering flats to hopefully get a stiffer feel.

I love my sonic p. If you can play one locally and you like the feel, I say go for it. I put a SDQP pickup in it and I now love the sound as well. As good as a $1000 MIM P at 1/4 the cost.

Just ordered a JHS crimson. I love my ehx green Russian so I’m looking forward to seeing how this stacks up. I was seriously considering the Berkeley as well. The 50% sale going on now seems like a good opportunity to add some classic fuzz models to the stable.

It’s great as a headphone amp. This is how I use mine almost exclusively. It has a dedicated headphone Jack and can playback audio using usb c. Some people report that audio playback through their phone is too loud, but I don’t have that issue using my laptop.
