The Genz-Benz 2x12 by itself. Your head into the 2x12 will do everything you mentioned that you want. The only 4x12 bass cab I have used was a Peavey TVX-4x12. More cab that you need, by far and it weighs as much as Long Island.

IMHO, EBMM 5 string necks are a bit thin (side to side), but your finger muscles quickly learn to fret inward a millionth of an inch to keep the G string from slipping off the side of the fretboard. This was my choice with the supplied photo.

I have used a first generation Acoustic 200 combo from GC back when they first came out. It sounded good, was plenty loud and never gave me any cause for concern. For what you describe, the Acoustic 300 combo will be more than enough.

FWIW, the Euro series with the TX-TW pickups and the Tonepump are my choice. Pickups can be single coil or humbucking and mated with the Tone Pump make for my favorite Spector tone. My friend Hal Jordan Ketofsky on the Spector bass. YMMV tho.

Fender is very good at warranty service. I would call their customer service line and give them the serial number. You might be surprised to find out it is still under warranty.

MTD Super4 Give it a look see. Very different from a P.

Both the X-vive and the Lekato dongle style had issues with my Spectors and my MTD super 5. My 20 year old Audio-Technica and my Shure J1 belt pack units work fine. No more dongle style wireless units for me.

Tested again this morning. MTD Super 5, Spector Euro5, and EBMM SR5 all ring true and clear. Trim pot in the lapel pack at 40%, which never was moved throughout this issue. Thanks again. P.S. Gonna check the 18v basses later.

Output voltage is about 15.5 Center positive. Used a power supply for a Shure J1 we had in the shop. Same power, same result. Still no joy. Until I found the AT belt pack switch had become finicky and with the switch in the 'on' position sometimes it has to be "jiggled" to make continuous...
