3 sets.
I put these strings on for just a few hours of play. I cleaned them with alcohol and microfiber cloth so they are basically new. I cut them for a P bass with 3 wraps around the pole. I will cover shipping in CONUS.

I've stewed on this for a while, but wanted to get some feedback before I start pushing my luck with a seller on Amazon (might be too late) or reach out to Customer Service.
Over the course of several years (no less than 5 or 6) I've used GHS Precisions Flats for any bass I wanted flats on...
Hey everyone,
I've been using GHS precision flats for about 8 years, but I'm considering changing to another brand. I got into flats after being unable to drop the high-end and tone knob enough to blend in like I wanted to when playing with roundwounds. I love the dark tone that GHS provides...
I currently have Labella 760FS installed on a bass, but I'm changing them out for a GHS M3050 set. From what I can find the M3050 set has a total tension of roughly 184 lbs, but I can't find anything on that specific Labella set.
I'm assuming I'm going to have to loosen the truss rod a little...
Just ordered these but released they were the wrong gauge. NIB and not opened. I have a lighter gauge on another bass and they're great - smooth flats with awesome tone. $25 shipped to CONUS.

Hello Talkbass!
New member here.
Anyway, I'm a new bass player, and completing my Squier/Fender Trifecta (Squier Jazz, Fender Precision, Squier PJ) and just ordered a Squier PJ.
Was thinking about making 2 mods immediately: Seymour Duncan PJ Quarter Pound and Hipshot Kickass bridge.
Thinking...
Hi there, I've been wondering if any of you guys had used roto tapes on his/her rick? What did you think, hit or miss? I've had labella DTF Fl for about 5 years on mine, switched to the Fx set but that was too low tension for me. Right now it has D'addario tapes, which are ok but slightly too...

Ok so this is the second time I’ve done this ugh! I just received these from our trusty talkbass online store and unfortunately I ordered short scale by mistake. All I did was open the E and realized I made a mistake. Oh well, it happens, so they’re up for grabs.
$25 shipped within CONUS
Thanks

I have an Eastwood Classic 4 that is currently strung with a long scale set of Fender flats 45-100 that I had laying around. Too long for this bass, but only put on to see if flats were what this bass needed. Short scale bass (30.5") but requires medium scale strings. Right at 34" from the...

I've got an old and very well used (silks are very worn) set of GHS precision flats. They are light balanced tension set i put together myself from singles. .40 .55 .75 and both .95 and .100. i preferred the .100 myself, but will include the .95 if you like a little more bite from the E.

Been going through a bit of a string search lately. Have used Chromes on different basses off and on for a few years and thought they were the best of both works since they are a pretty versatile string that works for different genres, finger style, playing with a pick etc., but have always felt...
I bought a set of the GHS 45-105 precision flats last December and have had them on a j-bass since then, I find that they nail the vintage tone and give me a solid fundamental with a defined thump. Perfect for what I play and do. I also find that the tension is perfect for me, not Jamerson-esqe...
I've had these mounted on a couple of basses over the last ten years. They are broken in, but I didn't use them much. Great thud, but I like a little sustain in my tone for when I insert a little melody in my lines. $20 shipped in the CONUS.

Beautiful warm, percussive tone for Ron Carter sound. I love these strings! But I have too many sets. Need money, so I am selling one new in box. $20 Shipped in the CONUS.

On my bass for less than 10 minutes, cut correctly, correct number of windings, and with care for top load Fender 4 string. The 45-95 gauge is the perfect middle ground between Labella and TI. These are as new as new can be without being cut.

Decided not to use these as I would prefer a lower gauge to get a bit more "zing" and less "thump" (if that makes any sense) on my Ric 4001. So, I'll sell these for $20 shipped or I'd consider a trade for GHS Precision Flats Light gauge or D'Addario Chromes Custom Light ECB84 (40-100)

Im going to have a bass dedicated to BEAD tuning with flatwounds and i would prefer to not have to use a 5 string set, which would require me to file the nut and maybe even my bridge hole slot.
As the title implies, I'm looking to try the La Bella Original 54s, also called the Jamersons set...
