Clone Theory gets my vote.
I never had the chance to try one.
I love EHX in general.
Can you compare it to the BOSS CE-5? (my favourite so far, also didn't play any boutique chorusses)
MXR Stereo Chorus.
Deep, warm, warbly chorus...And it's got a low cut so the chorus affects only the highs of your signal. Plus EQ section.
Quite useful for Bass!

I checked that one out. Looks like a great chorus for bass, but the footprint is a little off putting.
Had the CEB-3 and it gone in replace of a CE-5. Don't get hooked up on the "Bass only" CEB-3. I fell into that marketing craze and regretted it. The sound is muffled and not as organic and pure as the CE-5. CEB-3's are a dime a dozen on EB and CL for this very reason. (CE-5's are also a dime a dozen on EB and CL.) You can usually get either for 40-50US.
You can spend more for exotics out there, but I haven't found any significant reason to waste my money on a 100+ chorus as little as it's used. Even the chorus master himself, Hooky used a basic Clone Theory for that marvelous Joy Division and New Order tone.

I was just looking around for another chorus for my guitar setup.
Saw that the price was okay, and think that just one control is cool.
Heard the soundsamples on the EHX site and was satisfied enough.
What's so bad about it?
Does it just suck on bass? Or also on guitar?

My favorite chorus is the MXR stereo chorus so deep and lush sounding. But the foot print and 18volts does keep it off my set up.
I'm going to look into the new digitech chorus. I was let down by the synth wah. But I'll give it a shot.

My favorite chorus is the EHX Polychorus. Great pure analog chorus tone, capable of a million different sounds.
I searched the forum for opinions on the Nano Clone.
Pretty much a concensus that it sucks.
I've got a luxury problem.
I've got a CE-5 which I love on bass.
But I'm putting togheter a guitar pedalboard.
So I'm GASsing for something new. (And I don't have much experience with choruses, pretty much only BOSS I am familiar with.)
I want something small and simple.
It may sound dirtier and quirkier than the CE-5.
guitar board:
BOSS GE-7 equalizer -> Big John Grannypuker (octave fuzz/distortion) -> BOSS CE-5 chorus -> Line 6 Verbzilla
So luxury problem, all great pedals I'm happy with. Just want to search around for another chorus.
First, +1 for the Boss CE-5. Best chorus Boss ever made, much better than the bass version. I went through tons of Chorus pedals before landing on the Maxon CS 9Pro. Analog, lush, organic, and absolutely void of any extra hiss or noise. A little pricey, but darn well worth every penny.
I stopped searching for a chorus pedal when I got to the DLS. Not exactly cheap at $200, and it's large, but it's quality stuff. Works particularly well with low notes.
Digitech definitely has my vote. especially since the digitech xbc bass multi-chorus pedal was my first chorus pedal. if you want a good affordable chorus pedal, I recommend the danelectro chorus pedals. I currently own a danelectro fab chorus pedal and it sounds amazing on bass. it gives my bass a smooth retro chorus sound.
I was informed that this pedal works well on bass. also I've read one review saying that this pedal has some bass boosts. I don't know if it's true but I'll bet it sounds awesome on bass. digitech and danelectro makes good sounding chorus pedals.
I find the Polychorus to be utter chaos, and while it's never leaving my pedalboard, I cannot call it a chorus. In fact, I wrote a review of it last year, and was both censored and censured for the title. I'm actually in the market for a CE-1 clone, and apart from Retro-Sonic and Fulltone, both of which are out of production, I can't think of any.
Strange that nobody mentions anything about Maxon choruses. Call me crazy, but I still prefer my old CS505 to Diamond Halo & TC Nova Modulator.
+1 for Jacques, I guess that it deserves more respect than it is today. I don't have Meistersinger but I have the Prisoner delay which can be easily use as very good & tweakable chorus among other things. It is sort of EHX DMM in much smaller package.

I agree with the AnalogMan.
It has a mix(blend) knob too. For the mini-chorus that i have.
