From the description and pics I'm assuming it changes colors? Oh wait what description? My buddy bought a Schecter 12 string electric guitar that was documented as being #2 in the run. He got the 3tsb, #1 was black and went to the president of the company. My buddy paid 40% off of retail for it at DrumCity/ Guitarland. I bet it's worth at least $1,000,000 now. This guy needs a clue, for that kind of cash it better come with a gig bag or a vault.

So that's why it's listed for so much… and yes, it comes with a jewel encrusted gig-bag but frankly if you have to ask.., you can't afford it.

Apparently it seems his claim is the 2 of these were made for Chris Squire (the blue one) and Nuno Bettencourt (spelling?, the red one) so this is why the crazy price, though he's obviously insane, if it does in fact prove to have been a Chris Squire instrument it might be worth a few bucks but obviously not that, a couple grand maybe.

The ad isn't as stupid as it first appears. Put an insanely high price on the item but leave it open to bids, hoping that there's an idiot out there who might buy into the guff and offer a comparatively modest but still idiotic sum, thinking they're getting a deal. It's a long shot but there are idiots everywhere. I'll bet there's one near you right now. In fact, I'd say there's an idiot no further from you than you can throw a ham sandwich.

Suppose for the sake of argument that this (or any) bass were really worth a million dollars, and that you really wanted it and had that kind of dough laying around to spend on it. My question is: Would you just send the million bucks via PayPal and then sit around waiting for the delivery truck a few days later? Wouldn't you spend a few hundred bucks more to get on a plane (your private jet?) and go check the thing out in person before buying it? And then bring it home with you?
