1 week clean !

That is one of the best things you can do. Now drink more wwater to go along with it. Most people don't drink nearly enough water. If you wait until you are thirsty, you are already dehydrated.

My drink of choice is tea. Hot, iced, black, white, green, and with no sugar. Supposed to be very healthy for you, aids in recovery from stress, anti-oxidant stuff. Just enough caffeine, and also have to go for the real coffee too once in a while.

Soda. No way. Very unhealthy stuff. Little kids are getting diabetes drinking soda. The biggest culprit is that high fructose corn syrup they put in it. That stuff is addicting, not good for human bodies. It not a real sugar, its just something that's cheaper than sugar that is wrecking havoc with many people trying to lose weight because it does a number of blood sugar levels. If you stay away from sodas and all products with high fructose corn syrup, sure you will make progress. HFCS is tricky. Causes the body to crave more of it. I found it in some so-called healthy, natural foods too. Its a real disservice the food industry has played to the public.

HFCS... Its a real disservice the food industry has played to the public.

Funny, I've been saying this for some time now. They use it because it's cheap. Corn is for fattening livestock. HFCS is looking like bad stuff. Don't believe the industry hype that it's almost the same as sucrose, either. Although the fructose/glucose balance is similar (a point they love to tout), I suspect the metabolisis isn't.

When I feel the Need for some Soda I pickup This....

dannnnng. Is that for real? I'm a DC addict. That guitar is beautiful... I used to drink like 6-7 regular cokes a day. A buddy of man was laughing at me and said learn to either drink coffee or switch over to Diet Cokes. I switched to Diet Cokes AND learned to drink coffee. :rollno: However. I knocked my DC intake to 1-2 a day. As soon as I switched to DC's I droped 10 lbs in like two weeks. I exercise a lot though. I surf 2-3 times a week and regularly do cardio stuff. Eat less move more. :D

Mexican soda is actually better than American. They don't use that fructose junk in theirs. Real cane sugar. When I do crave a soda and just can't ignore it, I buy a Mexican Pepsi. They cost more, but they're not as bad, and they're in glass, so they taste better, too.

My daughter does not like soda...she's 8. I hope she stays that way!
