Willie's great, but since I'm a Blues Hound he would personally not surprise any of my friends. I went for the unexpected in my personal list.
RE Willie Dixon, I heard an interview with Robert Plant recently where he related that Led Zeppelin thought all those old Blues tunes by Willie were public domain, like "Home On The Range". They were really surprised when Willie's lawyer contacted them....

I've continued to post the guys from my list on my Facebook page in a point/counterpoint with players that I obviously like. I've gotten some great comments there. Lots of love for Lemmy and Rick Danko as well as Bob Moore. Mike Watt's today....
