I called hip shot and they said they could make a fully adjustable 10 string bridge for $400 bones. You have to file the grooves witch is good for somebody like me cause I tune my bass to E,A,D,G,B. They said it takes about 1 to 2 weeks to make. Time to start saving my pennies I guess. lol

I am going to do a 10-string, I swear. Probably a Flying V. And I was going to call Hipshot and see if they could do me a custom bridge. I knew it would be expensive, but holy crap....
Me and a friend of mine are currently discussing a flying v 10.
Yeah..... Thats all kinds of expensive. That one piece is almost the entire budget for each of my previous builds.

I was just curious, how did you measure and cut the string spacing on the bridge and the nut for the coupled strings? How far apart are the two same note strings?

I'm looking to buy or have made a 10 string. Definitely would help if I could find a bridge. I emailed Dean about a Edge Hammer 10 bridge. They said they sold the last one, last month

Did you try Hipshot or Schaller yet? I spoke with them years ago and they were interested, but not doing one-offs just yet. I also talked to Warwick, but they wouldn't sell their system separate of a custom bass
