Absolutely stunning video. Beautiful basses.
But... Yes I am that Fender Guy. You are right about me.
I must have a Fender P Bass. It must be black.
Have two black FPB's, backups, just in case.
They are like race cars. Interchangeable parts.
These Fender bases in the video do not exist where I live.
I looked online, but didn't see Fenders for sale on your websites.
If the cool old Fenders are so bad,
why not sale off to people like me?
I need another black one.

Hi

I got mine at drytransfer.com. I talked with Avery and he is a great guy. I designed it myself in photoshop and sent him a high quality PDF. He was able to print everything I could cram on a 4x6 sheet of paper for $68. They are super easy to apply and not at all fiddly like water slide decals. I put a few coats of matte lacquer over it and it looks great.

Haha. Laughed reading this now. Half a year later, I stumble upon this post of mine again, and I ended up with a squier P-bass classic vibe fiesta red. The guy I got it from was a quiet proffesional who had some leftovers after working at a bass store. He had set it up really well, with new strings even. It's a joy to play. He also changed the pickguard, the volume and tone knob, as well as the tuners. Its basically a "true fender" (lol, if I am to quote myself :laugh:.) that I dont have to play for hours every day in order to not feel "guilty". It just worked out perfectly!

It was only 300$ by the way. A proffesional series P bass is around 2000$ (total cost) here in Norway. I honestly don't think I'd be able to tell the difference.

I’m going to have to go back and read this thread again now because I don’t remember most of it. That being said, you purchased a great bass! I’ve always wanted one of those in fiesta red with a tort guard because, well, Pino!

You made an excellent choice .
No need to spend more . Those Squiers are my favorite Pbass .
I’ve owned 7. They become harder to find and I’m not letting this one go. I prefer it over any USA made pbass. They are really that good . Mine is completely stock except for the TI Flats. They are the perfect stings for this bass. I enjoy mine right along with my USA made Fender Elite Jazz V.
