He is actually on point with a lot of the accusations & generalizations. Fortunately, I'm a hybrid of these and don't fit any single pigeon hole.
Im not any of those guys. I just plug in and play good bass, don't have a fashion statement , don't care, just there to serve the music whatever it might be. Hell I might even wear shorts, you just never know.

I've evolved into a melange of several myself:
9, 2, 6, 12... and 5 even though I'm a dude. Funny story... my old punk band's EP got into the hands of the MRR (Maximum Rocknroll) punk 'zine and they wrote a positive review of it, particularly praising the occasional "female" vocals... which were my screams. So, from that point on, I became the chick in the band.

Yeah, number 13 for me too though I’m not that grumpy. I also sing lead and am pretty boring — bad combo.
As a middle age prog-rock driven musician with an affinity for 90's songwriting, I wasn't fully represented by any of these archetypes (but i'll admit to a hint of funk master).

I don't fit into any of those, though I know a few guitarists who fit several of these. I guess there is no archetype for players who dress appropriately, play well with others, know the material and just try not to embarrass themselves...
That whole thing read as being surprisingly bitter and judgemental.
If the author could get off his high horse and stopped throwing snide comments around the place then it might have been vaguely amusing.

I was in a Band that said they wanted a 10, when actually they wanted an 11. I got fired for being too much of a 6.
