The Rumble 500 2x10 combo will surprise you by how good it sounds with a five string bass, and have more volume than you'll ever need. Nice and light too at 38 pounds. The Rumble 200 1x15 combo is the same size and weight. If you get a chance to audition them side-by-side just pick the one you like best.I´m going to buy a new amp, and Im looking át a Fender 500.
My bass i a Warwick corvette $$ 5 string and i play swing/bigband stright and nice.
What is the best for a 5-string bass-? an amp like rumble 500 with 2 x 10"
or a Rumble 115 with 1 x 15"
6 of 1, 1/2 dozen of another. Pick the one you think sounds better. Output should be almost identical. If bucks are a consideration, the 115 should be less of them (just 1 driver rather than 2).I´m going to buy a new amp, and Im looking át a Fender 500.

+1 Agreed that would make a positively killer mini-stack.But those Rumble combos are fantastic sounding.
I personally would go the 500 head into 2 1x12 rumble cabs

Does it have more displacement?the 210 cab will have more cone area than a single 15".
the 210 cab will have more cone area than a single 15". I have the Fender Rumble 500 head and will probably keep it for a long time!
