Man that thing is just so wrong. Cool idea, but just so wrong. I wouldn't mind trying to play on it though.

This was a feeble attempt to copy the Adler 12 string bass that Garry Goodman plays (can you tell which one is the knock-off?)

Garry's Adler 12 existed before the Tennessee 15 did for sure.

Poor guy. It's a shame to spend any amount of money on an instrument and have so many problems with it.

How long do you think it would take to tune up all of the strings on that six neck monster bass/guitar? 5 minutes? 15 minutes? 30 minutes?

I have a Hamer Chaparral 12 string bass.. 4 string tripled string setup. Hard to play, but wild sound. I can see why this was created.

I also had (once upon a time) a Dean 10 string bass.. 5 string doubled string setup. Interesting, a little easier to play, and the string sets were separated in twos to make playing it a little easier.

Now the 15 string? The strings aren't grouped at all.. .it looks more like a Chapman Stick instead of a bass. I sold my Dean months ago, I still have the Hamer (more for notoriety rather than playing, although I do play it on stage occasionally). The 15 string is one instrument I don't think I would ever waste my money on. I will save it for the purchase of a Chapman Stick.

Anyone ever try one of those Megatars? They kinda look like the Tennessee 15 string..
