Sure, in HINDSIGHT, going over the cliff looks like a bad idea. But things will get better if we do not give up, remain resolute. Just becaue that strategy hasn't worked well up to now doesn't mean it won't work in the future. Also don't criticize the sheep in front, you might mess up the morale of the rest of the herd.
