1955 Fender Precision Bass

Did you look at all the pics? The body has some age to it for sure. That neck though, not an ounce of fretboard wear on it anywhere that I can see.

But...

The Guitar Broker has been in business in Ft Lauderdale since 1989. If they had been involved in any shenanigans surely we would have heard about them by now.

Here's the bass on their site.

" I went to by a Carlo Robelli Mandolin for $400. ..."
I realize I make my share of typos, but not in a 25K professional ad I wouldn't

I went to their website instead, [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] there to look at, only two really even in my price range. He does have a [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] for a grand that is pretty nice. But I'm not studying it. I'm not buying any basses this year.

I got my hands full with 3 Fenders that I really enjoy along with an '86 Epiphone and 2012 Ibanez. And I also have a 2015 Squire that I'll refurbish some day, as well as a Peavey Millenium BXP equipped with MEC Dynamic Correction Jazz pups from Warwick and a 2 band Tone Monster preamp that I'm about to ship off to someone I'm giving the bass to.

There are some very nice basses on that page, '69 4001, 72 (modded) 4001, The '77 T-bird's price is in line with what I've seen and the '72 4001's price is actually low and it does come with the original bridge in the case, who know if the wood has been modded for the new bridge on it though. I've owned many Rics and never had trouble intonating them so can't understand why so many people complain about the bridges. It's actually very easy. But I digress.
I'm surprised he's only got one P bass which is probably what I'll buy if I ever buy a vintage bass. I like the Vox Teardrop too and that price is in line with most I've seen, maybe a little expensive but not outrageous.
