1963 Gibson EB-3 body routing

Hi!

I´m restoring a modified Gibson EB0F.
It has been modified with a slanted Jazz bass pickup near the bridge.

I´m looking for details on the bridge pickup routing on the EB-3;

- How big is the bridge pickup routing?

- What is the distance between the neck pickup routing and the bridge picup routing?

- Maybe there is links to similar restorations, any ideas?
Gibson could - understandably - not provide measurements or blueprints. I´d hope to restore this instrument as close as possible to the original, but the EB-3 bridge pickup routing will be necessary to hide the JB routing, I´m afraid...

I have an EB0F in similar shape - the bridge pickup added was a standard gibson bass mini humbucker.

The problem is that this will not work with the original fuzz control cavity cover - the two overlap a bit, so you either need to make a cut into the 'fuzztone' plate, or don't have a bridge pickup. I have pretty much decided to fill in the bridge pickup route - although I haven't done anything about this yet.

This seems like a good place to ask. And I don't want start a new thread for just one question. Does anyone know the diameter, and type of threads for a 1973 Gibson Eb-3 truss rod nut?

Thanks, Larry
