1963 Precision Bass

So I had a customer bring this in to work the other day. I never figured I'd even see something like this in person, much less actually play one, much less play it.

But here you are, in all it's roadworn glory, a 1963 Fender Precision Bass. Terrible pictures are my bad, I'll see if I can't get some more later.

Now, I don't normally subscribe to the school of though that insinuates that older guitars are just better by default, but this was the nicest playing bass I've ever touched. Sounded incredible, just butter.

This story doesn't really go anywhere. I just thought it was freaking cool.
