Many suggestions for mother of pearl. That might look nice, but it would not at all be a vintage correct look, which is why I think I like the white better than the tort.

I was looking at a Rick in midnight blue with white PG. I love tort but the white just contrasts great - you notice it immediately.

ps - get that 'effin bridge cover on it.

Definitely Tort white PGs are the first thing (and sometimes only) thing I change- cant stand 'em... if you must have white then Pearloid white! I know- tort doesnt go w/ everything like white, but white just looks so plain on a beautiful bass to me

tortoise is amazing on almost everything, xcept most people never try it because when you think about tortoise you figure it will look pretty weird. Just like anodized guards, they look friggin great on everything!

Tortoise any day over white.

Tort ! LPB + tort is a perfect combo imo

While it is your bass and you can put anything on it you want...it's also a vintage bass...and once you put tort on it...it becomes a parts bass.
